He deliberately broadened the meaning of the word "repay."
"Talisha" turned to look at them, her eyes seeming almost to speak as she gazed at Yang Ming and Kolev.
"Oh, it's you two!"
Her voice carried a hint of deliberately feigned surprise.
Yang Ming's assessment was that her acting wasn't very good.
"I never thought I'd run into you here! My two friends who helped me—this must be fate!"

With a ding, the elevator doors slid open.
Kolev smiled, his eyes narrowed. "My room's coming up. I'm exhausted after spending all day looking at factories and equipment. You young people can talk."
Then Kolev gave Yang Ming a beaming wink. "See you tomorrow, my dear nephew."

After Yang Ming and Kolev bid each other a fond farewell, Kolev leaned on his walking stick, humming a gentle tune as he stepped onto the floor with the Star Suite.
