Settling In
Bi Fan smiled. "You can't quite put it that way. Without Uncle and the brothers from Qin Mansion helping us, there's no way we could have taken them down."
"This works out well for both sides," Qin Dazhong said with a laugh. "It's not as if I've only been displeased with Luo Mansion for a day or two."
Qin Zhuang came over, carrying his two hammers. Delighted, he said, "Big Brother, there won't be a Luo Mansion in Red Moon City anymore, right?"
"Of course not," Bi Fan replied with a faint smile. "Without its mansion lord and Young Mansion Lord, Luo Mansion is nothing but an empty shell."
"By the way, Uncle," he said, turning to Qin Dazhong, "I'll leave the people here for you to deal with."
"Good!"
Qin Dazhong nodded. He knew Bi Fan wanted to check out the mysterious place Luo Hui had mentioned, so he said with a smile, "Go take care of your business. Leave this place to me!"
Bi Fan smiled and cupped his hands. "Thank you."
Aside from Qin Zhuang, who stayed behind to help deal with the arrangements for Luo Mansion's guards and other members, the group headed to the rear courtyard of the estate.
As soon as they entered the courtyard, Bi Fan finally felt blood surge up his throat. With a splutter, he spat it out.
"Brother Fan!"
"Big Brother! Are you all right?!"
Everyone panicked, looking at him anxiously as they asked.
Bi Fan gave a wry smile and shook his head. "I'm fine. That last move just took too much out of me."
Deep in Yu Si Yan's eyes was nothing but worry. She took his hand and said, "Brother Fan, get yourself back into shape before we go down there to have a look."
