Mysterious and Unclear
"Where... where am I?"
Bi Fan looked at the surrounding fog, his eyes full of confusion.
He vaguely remembered leaving White Night Space with his brothers. As they traveled toward Moxue Space, a swirling mist of Chaos had suddenly appeared and enveloped the Flying Boat. Then he had lost consciousness. When he woke, he had found himself here.
Everything around him was gray and hazy; he couldn't make out anything in the distance.
He wasn't even sure whether he was standing on the ground or in the void.
He reached down and grabbed a handful of the earth. It was dark as ink, loose and damp, and carried a faint, unpleasant stench of blood and decay.
Bi Fan frowned and casually flicked the dirt from his hand.
Looking ahead, he could just make out a shadow in the distance.
"What's up ahead?"
Bi Fan furrowed his brow. Before he could think any further, he felt the ground tremble. The shaking grew stronger, and a rumbling roar followed.
A fierce sense of danger welled up in Bi Fan, filling him with unease.
He tried to use his movement technique to retreat.
Suddenly, Bi Fan realized he couldn't sense his Chaos Power. He couldn't use his Soul Power, either. It was as if he'd become an ordinary person.
"What's going on? Where's my power?"
Bi Fan was dumbfounded. He stared at his palms, at a loss.
"What are you standing around for? Run!"
A voice came from nearby. Before Bi Fan could react, someone grabbed his hand and pulled him forward.
The person dragging him was a boy wearing animal hides. His skin was a healthy wheat color, and though he was lean, there was surprising strength in his hand. He pulled Bi Fan along with such ease that
