Are You Looking for Me?
Lu Quan's cold, furious shout rang out beyond the woods, making everyone instinctively shudder.
"No." The young man immediately gave a bitter smile and hurriedly explained, "When we chased him into these woods, he used some kind of trick. We couldn't detect his presence at all."
"This forest is so vast, and we didn't know where to look for him. We had no choice but to wait here for you to arrive before deciding what to do."
After hearing the whole story, Lu Quan's face turned alternately pale and livid. What could they possibly decide after waiting for him? They had lost the man. Though not much time had passed, given that the fellow could break free of the Sealing Power and hide his presence, he had probably already escaped. Where could they even begin looking for him?
Fuming, Lu Quan could only kick the nearby tree hard. An invisible pressure of spiritual power radiated from him, leaving the people behind him standing as silent as cicadas in winter, too afraid even to breathe loudly.
The tense, delicate silence lasted for a while. At last, he turned around and ordered coldly, "There's no need to pursue him. He must have escaped."
The group nodded, then asked somewhat cautiously, "What should we do now?"
"Go to Hidden God Valley." Too lazy to explain, he tossed out those four words and turned to leave. After a few steps, he suddenly seemed to remember something and glanced back, suspicion in his eyes. "Where's Lu Zhengda?"
Everyone froze. A young man stepped forward with a bitter smile. "It seems he couldn't accept that someone had taken his saber. He wanted to get it back, so he went after him alone."
Lu Quan furrowed his brows, clearly disapproving of such
