The Girl Who Was Caught Red-Handed
Qinqin heard Li Xiang's suggestion and instinctively shook her head. Somewhat flustered, she said, "But I can't do anything. I'll sit this one out. Duoduo can help you instead."
Seeing Qinqin say that, Duoduo immediately backed out too. "I'm not doing it either. My last test score was so bad. If my mom finds out I'm writing again, she'll definitely get mad."
When Li Xiang saw that Duoduo wasn't agreeing, he turned to Qinqin and pleaded, "Qinqin, look, you're turning it down, so Sect Leader Duoduo won't do it either. How about you give it a try, just for fun? Think of it as a break for your brain."
Qinqin could tell Duoduo wanted to join in too, but was just hesitating. Remembering that Wang Yue had said he could teach her an instrument, she nodded. "All right, but I still have to decide whether I want to sing or play an instrument."
Seeing that Qinqin had agreed, Li Xiang quickly nodded. "Whatever you like. As long as you're willing to join us. What about you, Duoduo? Qinqin's agreed, so our play is counting on you!"
Seeing that even Qinqin, who was so devoted to her studies, had agreed, Duoduo didn't feel right turning them down. Truthfully, she really wanted to take part in the show too.
After Duoduo agreed, she and Li Xiang often found time to discuss the story. Qinqin, on the other hand, didn't know how to do anything, so she went to see Wang Yue. She was actually looking forward to him teaching her an instrument.
Wang Yue hadn't expected Qinqin to want to learn now, and he wasn't prepared yet. He took her to a music shop filled with all kinds of instruments, hoping she'd pick one.
