Wang Yue unplugged his fully charged phone. The moment he turned it on, a flood of text messages came in.

When he checked, they were all from an unfamiliar number. Wang Yue wondered which Boss was in such a hurry. Had someone hacked into his phone?

He opened a few at random and saw that they were all messages for Guan Guan.

"Ruan Ruan, where are you?"

"Ruan Ruan, I know I was wrong!"

Seeing that there were no new messages for him, Wang Yue stopped scrolling. He quickly handed the phone to Guan Guan, roughly guessing that they were from Zhao Shiyong, and cautiously asked, "How did he get my phone number?"

Ruan Wan took the phone and read through every text before deleting them all.

She tossed the phone aside. Looking as though she did not care at all, yet also incredibly shy, she said, "Yesterday... when you were drunk and comforting me, you told me to call Zhao Shiyong and curse him out. You forgot that I broke up with him?"

"I actually did something that stupid?" Wang Yue sighed in relief. It would have been troublesome if Zhao Shiyong had seized the chance to soften Ruan Wan's heart.

"Yeah. I had barely gotten through and told him we were breaking up when you snatched the phone away and rambled on, cursing him out for ages before turning the phone off directly." Ruan Wan looked at Wang Yue with amusement. How could she not see through his thoughts? Still, she told him the truth to put his mind at ease.

Even she herself did not know whether she would have softened if not for Wang Yue's stubborn meddling last night. Her thoughts drifted back to their high school days. Zhao Shiyong seemed to have made mistakes back then too.

When Wang Yue saw Guan Guan sitting there silently in a daze, he knew she was thinking about Zhao Shiyong again.

Wang Yue's jealousy immediately flared up. This would not do. This woman needed some discipline.

"If you have the energy to think about the past, you're questioning my abilities!" Wang Yue spoke fiercely as he did something embarrassing. Several tens of thousands of words have been omitted here.

The two lay back down on the bed. Ruan Wan leaned against Wang Yue, her soft body pressed to his. This time, she truly had no strength left to think about anything else.

For some reason, Ruan Wan suddenly punched Wang Yue hard. Yet her tiny fist felt soft and gentle against him—comfortable!

Looking at the messy bedroom and Ruan Wan's somewhat damaged clothes, Wang Yue told her to rest a little longer before heading out himself, full of energy.

When he passed by the company, he first looked in through the window. Seeing that Zhang Kai and Xu Kaiyang were not there, he breathed a sigh of relief and went inside.

The moment he entered, however, he was surrounded by the three girls led by Zheng Wei, while the three brothers from his dorm watched with grins from their seats.

"Tell us, where have you hidden Ruan Ruan?" Zheng Wei grabbed Wang Yue by the collar and demanded viciously.

"What do you mean, hidden? She's my girlfriend!" Wang Yue rolled his eyes and replied casually.

"Your girlfriend?" Everyone stared in shock.

"Yeah, Guan Guan is my girlfriend now!" Wang Yue looked calm, but the slight lift of his brows gave away the joy he could not hide.

"You should deal with Zhao Shiyong first. He called the dorm countless times today!" Seeing that he did not seem to be lying, Zhu Xiaobei told him about the urgent problem that needed solving.

"Did he say where he was staying?" Wang Yue asked seriously.

"Room 2002 at Home Hotel, not far from the pedestrian street." After saying that, Zhu Xiaobei asked Li Weijuan if she had remembered correctly, and Li Weijuan nodded.

"All right!" Wang Yue's mind raced. Suddenly, an idea struck him, and he quickly gave out instructions. "Zheng Wei, go back to the dorm and get my Guan Guan's household registration page and ID card. Then take a taxi to the Civil Affairs Bureau and wait for me there."

"Yangzi, Second Brother, go reserve a private room at Ju Ya Ge for six tonight. When it's about time, bring Young Master Xu and Zhang Kai straight there."

"Go where? What are you doing?" Zheng Wei was the first to react. The others simply found it awkward to ask.

"Getting married!" Wang Yue's tone was extremely serious.

"Getting married?!"

After giving out his instructions, Wang Yue went on a shopping spree at the pedestrian street before returning home.

By the time he got home, Ruan Wan was already awake. Wang Yue handed her the things he had bought and said, "I just told Zheng Wei and the others that I'm treating them to dinner to celebrate our big news. Hurry up and wash up!"

"You already told them?" Ruan Wan's face suddenly reddened, and she asked excitedly.

"Would a wise man like me do that? Don't worry!" Wang Yue raised his brows.

"Really?"

"Really. Whether to tell them or not should be your decision!" Wang Yue looked at Ruan Wan sincerely, making her blush again.

By the time they left the house, it was already past two. Wang Yue hailed a cab, gave the driver an address near the Civil Affairs Bureau, and the two sat in the back holding hands.

They sped all the way there. The moment they got out, Wang Yue pulled Ruan Wan toward the Civil Affairs Bureau.

Only then did Ruan Wan realize what was happening. "Why are we here?"

"To get married!" Wang Yue answered with absolute certainty.

"Isn't this too fast?" Ruan Wan hesitated. "Besides, I didn't bring my documents."

"I wanted to put your name under my surname sooner." Wang Yue spoke earnestly. "Zheng Wei already helped me get your documents from your dorm."

"Okay!" Ruan Wan took a deep breath, and the look in her eyes as she gazed at Wang Yue grew even gentler.

By the time the two of them went inside, Zheng Wei had already been waiting for quite a while. She stayed with Ruan Wan until the official seal was stamped onto the marriage certificate, then jumped up excitedly.

"I'm the one getting married. Why are you so excited?" Ruan Wan shot Zheng Wei a reproachful glance, and that charming look left a whole crowd staring blankly.

Wang Yue hurriedly pulled her into his arms. "My wife."

"My beloved consort!" Zheng Wei grabbed Ruan Wan's arm from the other side and stubbornly dragged her into her embrace.

Seeing how Wang Yue was jealous even of another woman, Ruan Wan's heart grew even sweeter, and she finally put her worries to rest. At first, she had thought Wang Yue was pursuing Zheng Wei.

The bizarre trio walked out of the Civil Affairs Bureau together, drawing the attention of quite a few passersby.

While they waited for the bus, Ruan Wan stroked her freshly issued marriage certificate and slowly told Zheng Wei what had happened.

When Zheng Wei heard that there had been such twists and turns, she became extremely excited. Reaching across Ruan Wan, she smacked Wang Yue and declared loudly, "Wang Yue, you're a real man!"

Wang Yue and Ruan Wan rolled their eyes together. What kind of comparison was that? It was so Zheng Wei.
