Medusa is the reigning queen of the Snake People Tribe in the Tagor Desert. As a Snake Person with royal blood, she seeks the tribe's ultimate purification: evolution into the legendary Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python. Having remained at the peak of Dou Emperor for decades, she is prepared to risk her life for a path to Dou Ancestor. Her distrust of humans stems from the losses her tribe has suffered at human hands. 87 88

She first confronts Xiao Long after capturing Qing Lin in an attempt to obtain the Green Lotus Core Flame. Xiao Long instead gives her three Seventh-grade Humanoid Pills in exchange for Qing Lin's release. The pills allow Medusa to reach Dou Ancestor without taking the immediate risk of evolution. 87 88

Xiao Long later returns to the Snake People Tribe and offers to help her complete the legendary transformation.
