Xiao Long helped the San Xiao survive the attacks of Laozi and Primordial Heavenly Venerate, then cultivated and became involved with Bi Xiao, Qiong Xiao, and Cloud Heaven. He later took the Precious Lotus Lantern and set out to intervene in Deng Chanyu’s journey toward Xi Qi.

• Xiao Long led the San Xiao into the Nine Bends Yellow River Formation, where Primordial Heavenly Venerate and Laozi entered, took their treasures, and trapped them in the Qiankun Diagram.
• Xiao Long absorbed Samadhi True Fire to protect the San Xiao, but Laozi attacked them after opening the diagram, and Nuwa rescued them before Primordial Heavenly Venerate struck again.
• Tong Tian Cult Master arrived, sent Xiao Long and the San Xiao back to Biyou Palace, and later gave Xiao Long several treasures, including the Qing Ping Sword.
• Bi Xiao gave Xiao Long the Primordial Golden Dou and became intimate with him, while Cloud Heaven and Qiong Xiao learned of their connection through their shared sensations.

Xiao Long rescued Deng Chanyu, then helped Tong Tian Cult Master confront the other Saints and expose betrayals within the Jie Sect. Old Ancestor Hongjun punished Li Dan and Primordial Heavenly Venerate, and Tong Tian appointed Xiao Long acting Cult Master.

• Xiao Long rescued Deng Chanyu from the forced marriage to Tu Xingsun, and Deng Chanyu killed Tu Xingsun with the Immortal Binding Rope.
• Xiao Long settled Deng Jiugong and the Deng family on an island, then brought Deng Chanyu to Three Lives Island.
• After Fire Spirit Holy Mother’s death and conflict over Daoist Cihang, Xiao Long persuaded the Jie Sect disciples to let Cihang leave Biyou Palace.
• Tong Tian Cult Master formed the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation, and Xiao Long helped defend it against Laozi, Zhunti, Jieyin, and Primordial Heavenly Venerate.
• Xiao Long later guarded the Six Souls Banner, killed Chang Er Ding Guang Xian when he tried to betray the Jie Sect, and helped activate the banner against its named targets.

Xiao Long finished his involvement in the Investiture of the Gods War, reunited with people across several worlds, and brought a large group back to Jie Sect. Seeking experience and treasures, he entered Zi Dou Immortal Emperor’s Dream Realm and headed for the Saint Tomb.

• Zhao Gongming returned with Lu Ya’s remains and treasures, and Xiao Long took stock of his gains before refusing to let Shang Dynasty envoys recruit Jie Sect members.
• Xiao Long stayed in Xi Qi with Yi Jiang, persuaded Jiang Ziya to keep their affair secret, and later refused Daji’s request to aid Chaoge despite her offers.
• As the Chan School hunted Daji and the war ended, Xiao Long brought Yao Xueling home while Medusa, Bai Suzhen, and Xiao Qing chose to remain at Wa Huang Palace.
• After the Zhou Dynasty was established and Tong Tian Cult Master returned, he explained the wider Three Realms and warned Xiao Long to keep its secrets.
• Xiao Long visited the Great Thousand World and the God Realm, where he reunited with Tang Wutong, Lin Qing Tan, and Xiao Wu while Tang San and others were away.
• Xiao Long brought more than ten thousand people to Jie Sect, then asked Tong Tian Cult Master to send him into Zi Dou Immortal Emperor’s Dream Realm.
• In the Dream Realm, Xiao Long entered a Saint-created Sacred Domain, made clones to gather Heavenly Dao Gold, and searched for the Sacred Medicine before setting out for the Saint Tomb.

Xiao Long gained Saint Lan Cai’s dojo, rose to Quasi-Saint by fighting the Monster Race, and helped the Dream Realm defeat the Tribulation Race’s Third Ancestor. After Palm Emotion Immortal Emperor challenged Ning Fan over the Saint’s remains, Chaotic Ancient Great Emperor intervened and Xiao Long escaped.

• Xiao Long entered the Saint Tomb, defeated its guardian, and found Saint Lan Cai, her sleeping body, and the Ghost Ganoderma before claiming her Ten Million Year Evergreen Tree dojo.
• Xiao Long used the dojo and Six Souls Banner to defeat the Sacred Domain’s attackers, then traded with Ning Fan and advanced to Eight Tribulation Immortal Emperor.
• Xiao Long fought the Monster Race with his sword formation, killed Blood God Geng Wu, and reached the second tier of Quasi-Saint, helping drive the underwater Monster Race from the war.
• After learning a Tribulation Clan Saint was coming to the Dream Realm, Xiao Long gathered allies, upgraded his Zhu Xian Swords, and prepared the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation.
• Xiao Long and the gathered fighters lured Third Ancestor Xue Si into the formation and killed him with their swords, talismans, and the Six Souls Banner.
• Palm Emotion Immortal Emperor demanded Xue Si’s true spirit and body from Ning Fan, but Xiao Long refused to surrender the spirit.
