After the Pill Tower Ancestor helped defeat the Soul Hall, Xiao Long used Nalan Yanran to enter the Gate of Death, where he reunited with Yun Yun and the others.

• Xiao Long brought Han Yue and Han Xue back to the Nine Heavens Heavenly Court, then killed the Heavenly Poison Scorpion Dragon Beast and took its Demon Core.
• Xiao Long gathered Xiao Xun'er, Medusa, and Ya Fei to share their stories, then brought Xiao Yi Xian to the Tagor Desert and used the Poison Pill Method to help her control her Calamity Poison Body.
• Xiao Yi Xian awoke as a Seven-star Dou Ancestor, and Xiao Long spent half a month with her and the others at the Nine Heavens Heavenly Court before Xiao Xun'er warned him that Gu Yuan could track her.
• Xiao Long sought a refuge from Gu Yuan and learned from Yun Yun that the Misty Cloud Sect’s Gate of Death led to another space, but Hun Miesheng soon found and attacked the Nine Heavens Heavenly Court.
• The Soul Hall’s Dou Saints overwhelmed Xiao Long’s forces until Yao Chen and the Pill Tower Ancestor arrived, and the Pill Tower Ancestor killed Hun Miesheng while the others defeated the remaining Soul Hall experts.
• Xiao Long found Yun Yun missing at the Misty Cloud Sect and took Nalan Yanran through the Gate of Death by hiding inside a bracelet she carried.

Xiao Long took his companions from the Dou Qi Continent into the Star River, escaped hostile fleets, and reached the world of the Great Yan Dynasty. There he found Lin Dong and took him and Lin Qing Tan as disciples.

• Xiao Long and the others advanced in the Gate of Death, where Yao Chen became a Ninth-grade Alchemist and Xiao Long discovered the Tomb of the Empty Emperor.
• After saving enough Exchange Points, Xiao Long bought the Space Shuttle and left the Dou Qi Continent with the women, though he could not choose their destination.
• The group encountered hostile fleets in the Star River, and Xiao Long escaped pursuit by piloting through an asteroid field and using spatial traversal.
• On a new world, Xiao Long protected his companions while they adapted to its spiritual energy, then learned that they had landed in the Eastern Xuan Continent.
• Xiao Long traveled to Qingyang Town to find Lin Dong, where his female subordinates defeated local challengers and the Lin Family received him warily.
• Xiao Long offered to help Lin Xiao and his family, then agreed to take Lin Dong and Lin Qing Tan as disciples and stay with the Lin Family to teach them.

Xiao Long trained the Lin Family and Lin Dong while beginning an affair with Liu Yan, then seized and refined the Devouring Ancestor Talisman. After building his influence in Yan City, he obtained a map to the Thunder Ancestor Talisman and set out toward the Dao Sect to pursue the Ice Master.

• Xiao Long accepted Lin Xiao as Yao Chen’s disciple, arranged for Lin Dong and Lin Qing Tan to study under him and the women, and began training Lin Dong at a secluded cave.

Xiao Long recruited Ying Huanhuan and Ying Xiaoxiao as disciples, then traveled to claim the Thunder Ancestor Talisman and seek the Life and Death Ancestor Talisman. He left the Immortal Holy Whale Clan with Mu Lingshan and the dead former talisman wielder, hoping to revive her.

• Xiao Long persuaded Ying Xuanzi to let him teach Ying Huanhuan after revealing she was the Ice Master's reincarnation, and Ying Xiaoxiao and Ying Huanhuan became his disciples after he taught them the Nine Nether Demonic Melody.
