Liliya felt utterly speechless.
She could only sit there as Rosaliya seemed to shine with some kind of light. Even the icy mist could not conceal the joy in her eyes.
Though her singing sounded as unpleasant as an ancient summons.
It was indeed beautiful.
With a frown, Liliya listened through the entire concert.
Though she applauded along with him, she simply could not match Zhao Bai's enthusiasm. Liliya already loved Rosaliya dearly; could it be that Zhao Bai loved Rosaliya even more than she did?

The concert came to an end.
Rosaliya rose onto her tiptoes and reached upward, as though she wanted to touch the stars in the sky.

Seeing her concluding gesture, Zhao Bai removed the plugs from his ears and flashed Liliya a smug smile.
"Noise-canceling earphones."
He quietly explained their function. "Made by Schicksal. They filter out both extremely high-frequency and extremely low-frequency sound waves, greatly reducing the destructive power of Rosaliya's singing."
"Are you deceiving Rosaliya's feelings?"
"So, in order not to make Rosaliya angry, please show mercy, Liliya, and don't tell her."
"Liliya won't do that."
Liliya sighed, feeling thoroughly exhausted.
If Rosaliya found out about this, she would probably be very hurt and upset.
Applause rose as the curtain fell.
Though sparse, it still delighted the girl onstage.
