"Seven?"
Kakashi Hatake examined the specially made wristband in his hand. A simple, unadorned character had been engraved into its skin-friendly metal surface.
Wu Yu said, "If you're asking why it's seven, all I can say is, who told you to be such a dog lover?"
Kakashi Hatake tucked it into his clothes and said lazily, "No, what I wanted to ask was, if you needed to contact us or had a use for us, couldn't you just use our Mysterious Clones directly?"
"Yeah! Exactly!" Naruto Uzumaki said from the side, smacking his fist into his palm.
Wu Yu said, "The original and a clone are not the same thing, after all. Besides, the wristband is more for your convenience. When necessary, it can transmit some of my abilities to you through Chakra for you to use."
"Mm-hm!" Naruto Uzumaki nodded repeatedly. "That's true!" Then he tilted his head, a question mark practically appearing over it. "Wu Yu's abilities? What abilities?"
"Wu Yu already said he's still researching and developing them!" Sakura Haruno said, shoving Naruto Uzumaki's head.
"Well then, we'll be going."
Kakashi Hatake waved. Sasuke Uchiha also nodded and got to his feet, following Kakashi toward the Hokage Building alongside Naruto and Sakura. Today was the long-awaited day when Team Seven would carry out a mission together again. The difference was that, in the current Team Seven, only Sakura Haruno remained a Genin—a trainee ninja.
"A trainee ninja is basically a little baby, usually treated as someone incapable of independently completing a mission, so they need a squad leader to guide them."
Wu Yu crossed his legs and said, "Becoming a Chunin means becoming an official ninja, someone judged capable of completing missions. There probably won't be many chances for Team Seven to gather and carry out missions
