"Looks like we arrived just in time."
Seven looked toward the voice. The newcomers were the Legendary Life-Saving King, the Revolutionary Army's leader, Monkey D. Dragon, and the Okama King, Ivankov.
"Kuma! Ginny!!"
Ivankov dashed over, not caring that the roast meat in their hands was still steaming, and threw himself into Kuma's arms. The three embraced tightly.
"Thank goodness. When I heard what was happening in the Sorbeth Kingdom, I asked Dragon to come help. I'm so glad you're both all right."
Kuma smiled gently.
"Everything's fine now, Ivan."
The three had met at God Valley and endured many hardships before escaping. Even after parting ways, they'd stayed in touch for years.
"Let me hug you a little longer."
Ivankov understood that once Kuma had made up his mind, there was no talking him out of it,
and besides, he had no intention of trying to stop him.
He respected and supported Kuma's choice, and was happy that Kuma was leaving his country church to follow such a powerful captain.
No one could stay trapped in one place forever.
Once the three had finished catching up, Ivankov was surprised to see Dragon, who had been reluctant to accept the situation, sitting by the campfire with Beelzebul, deep in discussion.
Dragon even nodded from time to time as he listened to Beelzebul, his eyes growing brighter by the second.
"This world shouldn't be like this..."
