To the left stood one nearly a zhang tall, broad-shouldered and thick-waisted, his body a mass of knotted muscle. His skin was a healthy bronze, his face square-jawed with thick brows and large eyes, a straight nose and a firm mouth. His coarse, stiff hair stood upright. Standing there, he was like an iron tower. A sense of simple honesty mixed with raw power radiated from him. Looking at this style, there was no doubt it was Lin Er.

To the right stood another, half a head shorter than Lin Er, but his build was well-proportioned and upright, lacking the exaggerated bulk of his companion. His face was lean and refined, his gaze calm and wise, giving off an overall impression of reliability and competence. This was Lin San.
