Background / History

Qian Daoliu is the Great Enshrined of Martial Soul Hall and the leader of its Worship Hall, whose members are required to be at least Level 95 Titled Douluo. He is regarded as the hall's foremost pillar of strength. 5

Before the events of the Heavenly Dao Golden Ranking, Chen Jianjun—father of Sword Douluo Chen Xin—challenged Qian Daoliu in Martial Soul City to hone his sword path. Qian Daoliu never drew a sword; his Level 99 soul power alone killed Chen Jianjun. 2

Qian Daoliu once fought Tang Chen on the ground and lost by one move. He consequently swore never to enter the Clear Sky Sect's territory, an oath that Tang Xiao continues to rely upon as protection for the sect. 3
