Background / History

Yu Xiaogang is the son of Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan Sect Master Yu Yuanzhen. His Innate Soul Power of only level 0.5 severely limited his cultivation, a restriction he bitterly compares with Flender's stronger natural talent. He believes that, with greater innate potential and his own theoretical knowledge, he could have become a Titled Douluo. 4

When Luo Sanpao awakened, Yu Xiaogang left rather than endure the resulting humiliation to his clan's reputation. He later fled again when pressured by Qian Xunji, an event that ended with Bibi Dong being confined in a secret room. 5

At Shrek Academy, he became Tang San's teacher and gained prestige among the students through his reputation as “Master.” His status was damaged when the Strongest Dragon-Tiger Ranking disproved his prediction that even high-level Soul Sages could rank among the continent's top thirty. 3 5
