The One-Punch Man world.
Hero Headquarters had summoned all the S-Class Heroes together. Before his death, the Great Prophet had issued a prediction: Earth would be finished within half a year. That was why the S-Class Heroes had been gathered to discuss a solution. Otherwise, none of them could leave headquarters.
However, while they were discussing it, a massive spaceship descended upon Earth, blotting out the sky and instantly reducing City A to ruins.
Fortunately, the Hero Headquarters building was sturdy, and no one inside was harmed.
Many Cosmic Monsters descended from the ship and rampaged through City A.
The S-Class Heroes fought them fiercely, while Heroes of other ranks and rescue personnel rushed over from other locations to help.
Mumen Rider was among them.
Looking at the countless Cosmic Monsters, he did not hesitate to use a Chat Group Mission Ticket and request help from the big shots in the group.
Batman, Dragon Maid Thor, and Lu Changsheng appeared at the scene the very next second.
"Whoa, what a huge spaceship." Thor blinked as she looked at the extraterrestrial vessel that had destroyed City A in an instant.
Batman wore the new Bat Suit Lu Changsheng had forged for him. Its power went without saying; it was enough for him to contend with Superman.
"We need to act." As Gotham's hero, Batman knew what needed to be done.
"I'll take a look inside the ship," Lu Changsheng said, raising his eyes.
If nothing unexpected happened, there would be a powerful figure from this universe inside.
"Everyone, please." Mumen Rider was covered in grime as he said, "I'll keep transporting the wounded."
"I can do that too." Dragon Maid Thor folded her arms and proudly said, "Leave it to me."
"Can you handle it?" Batman looked doubtful. Monsters were running rampant here. If Thor was not strong enough, she could end up in danger herself.
"Don't underestimate her. There's tremendous power inside her." Lu Changsheng glanced at her. As expected of a Dragon Maid—there was a saying that was never wrong: the strongest fighters always came from slice-of-life worlds.
"True Monarch, you have a good eye." Thor said in surprise, "I can't tell how strong you are at all. You feel even stronger than the gods in my world."
With that, Dragon Maid Thor turned into a streak of lightning and sped across the battlefield.
Batman raised an eyebrow. What speed. Still, with the enhancement of his suit, he could move just as fast if he wanted to.
"Come on. The two of us will check out the ship," Lu Changsheng said.
"Mm." Batman nodded. The suit's power activated, allowing him to float into the air as he flew straight toward the enormous extraterrestrial spaceship.
Such a massive ship hung in midair. The shockwave from its landing alone had destroyed City A. It was hard to imagine what would happen to Earth if the entire ship fell.
Lu Changsheng and Batman arrived beside the ship.
Batman punched a hole through its hull, snapped apart the metal, and stepped inside.
The interior was a maze of twisting passages. Without a professional guide, an ordinary person could easily get lost within it.
But who were Batman and Lu Changsheng?
One was the Dark Knight, the other a Vest Monster. Moving through terrain like this was nothing more than routine for them.
Lu Changsheng swept his gaze across the ship. Saint's Eye pierced through every detail. He saw Boros seated on the ship's throne, and he saw a certain Baldy charging recklessly through the vessel.
"This way." Lu Changsheng did not spare it another thought and led Batman toward the control room.
Along the way, plenty of strange-looking monsters emerged from within the ship and tried to stop them.
Without exception, they were either killed with a single punch from Batman or frightened to death by a glare from Lu Changsheng.
In the group— Yatogami Tohka: It's getting weird! Daigo: These Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals have no fighting power at all. They're no match for Batman and True Monarch. Takanashi Rikka: Indeed. How could Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals possibly be a match for an Immortal? Deep Sea Otaku: Thor is rescuing people so quickly. So many have already been carried away.
Inside the ship's command room, an octopus-like monster was frantically busy.
"What's going on? We seriously underestimated the natives of this planet. That Baldy charging around like a madman is one thing, but that guy dressed all in black is taking them out one punch at a time too. The one in white is even more ridiculous—whoever he looks at dies. What is this?"
The Octopus Monster was one of the strongest combatants aboard the ship. It possessed one of the greatest telekinetic powers in the universe, comparable to the superpower of the S-Class Hero Tatsumaki.
It had tried to stop Saitama, intending to first fool that Baldy since he looked rather dim-witted.
But the moment it spoke, the door was kicked open.
Lu Changsheng and Batman stormed in.
"Hey, you've got some nerve breaking into Lord Boros's ship! You still have a chance if you leave now. Otherwise, it'll be too late to beg for mercy!" the Octopus Monster threatened Lu Changsheng and Batman.
"I'll handle it. True Monarch, keep going deeper inside." Batman noticed another door ahead that led further into the ship.
"Make it quick. Don't waste the functions of that new suit," Lu Changsheng said with a slight nod.
"Are you ignoring me?" The Octopus Monster tried to stop Lu Changsheng with Telekinesis.
What came next, however, was it coughing up a great mouthful of blood.
Lu Changsheng strolled onward as if he were walking through his own backyard.
Whenever he encountered an obstacle, he simply passed straight through it.
"Y-you bastard! Even if you're this strong, you'll die here!" the Octopus Monster roared.
Batman activated his signature skill. He always vanished the moment someone turned around, only to appear right beside them.
"Let's have a little practice." Batman's voice was hoarse as he grabbed one of the Octopus Monster's tentacles with his right hand and slammed it downward with all his strength. Like a rocket propelled by jets, it smashed a huge hole through the ship, sending the Octopus Monster plummeting straight toward the ground.
Batman swept his gaze across the other small monsters in the command room, frightening them until they trembled. He ignored them, then leaped down after it, prepared to finish off the Octopus Monster.
On the ground, the S-Class Heroes were dealing with an immortal monster.
The suddenly falling Octopus Monster scattered their attack.
"What's going on? Another monster?" The S-Class Hero Atomic Samurai looked displeased.
The elderly Silver Fang raised his head slightly. "No. It was knocked down."
As soon as he finished speaking, Batman fell from above, kicking up a cloud of dust.
"Cough, cough..." The S-Class Hero wielding a baseball bat demanded, "Who are you? How did you come down from that ship?"
"Batman." Like a ghost in the night and a messenger of death, Batman's hoarse voice sent a chill through their hearts.
Sexy Prisoner's eyes lit up. He could tell that this man calling himself Batman was wonderful!
Genos narrowed his eyes. Master is up there too. I wonder whether this man has run into him.
Atomic Samurai and Silver Fang, meanwhile, could both sense as martial artists that Batman was also proficient in martial arts. His strength was absolutely enough to rank among the S-Class Heroes.
Yet they had never heard of him before.
The two exchanged a glance. It seemed this disaster had brought quite a few hidden experts into the open.
