The Omega Beams circled Darkseid once, then shot straight toward Lu Changsheng.

Darkseid remained expressionless, as though he had already foreseen what would happen next—the sight of Lu Changsheng turning to ashes.

But when the Omega Beams truly came into contact with Lu Changsheng, they dissolved into nothingness, as though swallowed by a void that did not exist.

"What?" Even Darkseid was moved.

This was the first time he had seen the Omega Beams simply vanish.

Steppenwolf, standing nearby, was equally shocked. As Darkseid's uncle, Steppenwolf knew full well how powerful Darkseid was. Especially the might of the Omega Beams. Otherwise, Darkseid would not have become the ruler of Apokolips, and Steppenwolf would not be his subordinate.

"Do you have any other tricks?" In an instant, Lu Changsheng had seen through the true nature of the Omega Beams. Taking advantage of that, he made them vanish outright.

"Hmph." Darkseid refused to believe that Lu Changsheng could so easily erase such terrifying Omega Beams again and again.

Red light flickered from his eyes once more. Aside from the Omega Beams, Darkseid himself was no weakling. He could contend with Superman; otherwise, he would not be known as the Cosmic Emperor.

He fired the beams again, this time attacking from every angle.

The Omega Beams surrounded Lu Changsheng completely, the space within steadily shrinking.

They sought to make Lu Changsheng suffer bit by bit before turning him to ashes.

Yet Lu Changsheng gave a slight shake, and the Omega Beams swirling around him scattered.

"Get out of here." Darkseid unleashed the Omega Sanction.

It could cast its target into endless Parallel Universes, forcing them through endless cycles of reincarnation, with each world worse than the last.

But to his surprise, the Omega Sanction not only failed to send Lu Changsheng into endless Parallel Universes, it instead seemed to have entered countless universes itself, wandering aimlessly through them.

It was as though a universe existed within the man before him.

"Is that all you have?" Lu Changsheng smiled and flicked his sleeve. "Then it's my turn."

Darkseid's gaze sharpened. His body abruptly expanded, as though he had cast a heavenly transformation, his strength rising without end.

Cthulhu Xing Yi Quan.

Lu Changsheng did not throw a punch himself. Instead, countless shadow-like figures emerged from his body.

Behind him, it seemed as though an abyss had opened, with Cthulhu's figure wandering within. It looked as if it could break free of its restraints at any moment and descend before them.

And with every punch those shadows threw, there came tangible physical damage and a devastating assault on the mind.

He had comprehended this move last time, but had not found anyone to test it on. Darkseid was just the right candidate.

He only needed to control the force a little, lest Darkseid be beaten to death by physical damage before his mind collapsed.

Darkseid's pupils suddenly contracted. Though no blow had touched him, deep fist-shaped dents appeared across every muscle in his body.

But that was not the most important part. The power of Cthulhu Xing Yi Quan was not merely an attack on the body—it was an assault on the mind.

Darkseid gritted his teeth and dropped to one knee, looking as though he were in immense pain.

He roared, venting his agony.

But soon, he could no longer make a sound. Or rather, he no longer knew how to make one.

Darkseid lost his defensive stance. His arms hung limply at his sides, and his entire body went slack and vacant.

His mind had endured unbearable torment, an indescribable impact.

This mental assault was no weaker than the brainwashing of the Anti-Life Equation. Even this terrifying being of the multiverse could not withstand it.

With a bang, Darkseid fell to the ground, his eyes dull as he completely lost the ability to move.

The current Darkseid was no different from a cripple.

"Lord Darkseid!"

In the distance, the brainwashed Superman let out a roar and flung Iron Man and Batman away.

Then he charged toward Lu Changsheng.

With a thought from Lu Changsheng, Superman's entire body stiffened, leaving him suspended in midair, unable to move.

"Let me take a look at the Anti-Life Equation."

Lu Changsheng walked over and placed a hand on Superman's head.

An incomparably powerful force flowed into him, seeing through the origin of the Anti-Life Equation and, incidentally, removing its control over Superman and restoring his memories.

After finishing all that, Lu Changsheng clapped his hands and took a step back.

Superman fell face-first to the ground.

He clutched his head and shook it. "What happened to me? What happened?"

"Buddy, you're back?" Iron Man asked.

Iron Man and Batman, who had been thrown away by Superman, hurried back to his side without pause.

Batman watched silently. Since True Monarch had acted, Superman should be fine.

"Yes, I'm back. I... didn't have time to resist before Darkseid took control of me. Bruce, when did you become so strong?" As Superman gradually remembered everything, he stared at Batman in disbelief.

Despite having only a human body, Batman had unleashed strength no weaker than Superman's own when he had lost his mind.

"We'll talk about that later. Now that you're back, it's time to send the invaders on their way." Batman looked toward the army of Parademons.

"Indeed. I'm a kind-hearted man. I can't stand seeing others suffer." Kamen Rider Decade also arrived beside them.

Superman rolled his neck and looked at the enemies trapped within the formation.

Red light lit up in his eyes once more.

"It's time to deal with the enemy."

Superman's red cape fluttered without wind. A single blast of heat vision wiped out a large number of Parademons.

Meanwhile, Steppenwolf below felt his worldview collapse. Darkseid, who had dominated the multiverse, had actually been defeated by people from Earth.

And it had looked so effortless.

A trace of fear rose in the heart of the bloodthirsty Steppenwolf.

And that fear made Steppenwolf a target for the Parademons.

The Parademons swarmed over him, tearing and biting.

"Get away from me, you beasts!" Steppenwolf tore apart Parademons with his bare hands, roaring furiously.

But he was soon pinned to the ground.

Iron Man fired a Red Phoenix Ray straight at Steppenwolf's chest, blasting a hole clean through him.

"Hey, this guy's a lot softer than Superman," Iron Man quipped.

Seeing that the overall situation had been decided, Aquaman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Steel Bone pressed their advantage.

As long as they wiped out these Parademons, they would achieve a complete and utter victory.

Lu Changsheng looked up at the warships in the sky and snapped his fingers.

The warships instantly disappeared.

It looked just like Thanos snapping his fingers with the Infinity Gauntlet.

"Kill!" Aquaman charged forward with his trident.

Superman descended once more and looked toward where Darkseid lay.

"This time, we won."

Filled with hope, Superman grabbed Darkseid, exerted force with his arm, and crushed the resistance-less, mindless Darkseid to death.

Lu Changsheng remained where he was, his mind immersed in the Chat Group as he chatted away.

These Parademons were so weak that he could not even be bothered to act. He only needed to wait for the Justice League to clear them out and complete the mission. Then it would be about time for him to leave.
