Happy New Year's Eve, everyone!
The new year was almost here, and there were many things I wanted to say to all of you, my friends.
First of all, thank you all so much for your support.
I had to admit that while I had some inspiration when it came to writing books, the webnovels I actually wrote were really only average. The fact that everyone had been so tolerant meant I was truly grateful for your support all this time. Thank you so, so much!!!
Secondly, I had read everyone's suggestions too, but to put it bluntly, the author himself was simply limited in ability.
I wasn't like those rookie authors earning millions a year, nor was I like those big shots of top-tier sci-fi and cultivation novels, capable of taking a story from beginning to end and arranging the plot with rise after fall, with foreshadowing echoing back and forth, achieving that pinnacle of webnovels...
How did that saying go? This humble one was powerless...
All I could do was try my best to write out my inspiration, my ideas, and the things I found interesting for everyone to read. Being able to receive everyone's appreciation and affirmation was also something that made me happy.
To speak from the heart, I actually didn't have many friends in university. My studies were just ordinary too, nowhere near top-tier. In Earth Online, I was basically just an utterly ordinary NPC.
I didn't have the wonderful youth of Douyin's post-2000 generation, with some top 985 university, or three or five close friends to go see the magnificent rivers and mountains of the motherland with. I didn't even have anyone to keep me company in daily life... Sigh, I felt like a little transparent person in university.
