Background / History

Xue Beng is a transmigrator who became the Fourth Prince of the Heaven Dou Empire. Before arriving in the world, he attended the National Defense University and intended to volunteer as a teacher; this background later informs his emphasis on education, military organization, and ordinary people’s welfare. 203 210

As a prince, he inspected the Silves Kingdom and reached a military-equipment exchange agreement with Prince Osf, who praised him as having the bearing of a virtuous ruler. His growing influence placed him in direct political conflict with Crown Prince Xue Qinghe and the noble faction behind him. 6 79

Xue Beng recognized the danger posed by transmigrators early. Learning that Shrek Academy contained over a dozen of them, he concluded that the end of the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament would trigger a continent-wide struggle.
