Background / History

Tang Hao first identifies the Golden Finger after searching Dugu Aotian’s Storage Soul Tool and finding unexplained light orbs among the battle spoils. Because ordinary animals he had killed never produced such drops, he suspects that the system’s “monsters” are actually transmigrators. 12

An orb dropped by Elder Hui provides the Dragon Transformation Secret Method. Although its original path requires consuming humans or treasures to evolve, Tang Hao rejects consuming people and chooses to feed it heavenly treasures and materials instead. 13

By the time Qing Yuhuan becomes a target, Tang Hao has formed a clearer understanding of the ability: slain transmigrators leave light orbs that may contain a portion of their Golden Finger’s skills, techniques, or secret arts. He begins treating hostile fellow transmigrators as potential sources of power. 38

The Golden Finger’s scope expands as Tang Hao acquires abilities from Li Yuntian, Qing Yuhuan, and other transmigrators. Its later devouring function allows it to consume released Golden Finger power directly, rather than relying solely on discrete light-orb drops. 87 116 228

During the world-saving crisis, Tang Hao concludes that You Yu’s card-creation Golden Finger is connected to the Pangu Banner, while his own kill-triggered ability may be connected to the Heaven Punishing Four Swords. This remains Tang Hao’s inference rather than a confirmed identification. 293
