Spiderwebs covered the ground all around.

This was clearly territory occupied by a spider colony, and all the large spiders had just been killed by Professor Foxx's spells.

Only some immature young spiders remained here now.

Their smallness was relative; even in their juvenile stage, they were as large as an adult's fist.

Professor Foxx had not walked far before he stopped.

The tracking magic had vanished once it led him here, which meant the person he was looking for was nearby.

Yet there was not a single person in sight. Only a huge figure suddenly burst out of a cave!

Professor Foxx casually waved his wand. A second before that figure reached him, the stone in front of him suddenly transformed into a sharp stone spike.

The unprepared giant creature immediately had its underside slashed open. It let out a pained shriek, its six blade-like limbs curling together as it became too weak to move forward.

Professor Foxx quickly took two steps back and got a clear look at the enormous creature.

It was an abnormally huge Acromantula, even larger than a Muggle car. Every movement of its six legs swept down swaths of trees like blades.

Its eight eyes looked rather abnormal, a strange grayish white, as though it were blind.

This spider was clearly Hagrid's friend—Aragog.

However, something about its current state was off, as if someone had controlled it.

Large creatures like this only looked terrifying. In truth, they were the easiest targets for wizards to deal with. Their massive size made them perfect living targets.

"Locomotor Mortis."

Spells that restrained limbs were undoubtedly effective against creatures with so many joints. Aragog's eight legs were locked in place, leaving it completely unable to move.

Killing it would have been easy, but out of consideration for Hagrid,
