Above it, thunderclouds gathered from the highest reaches of the sky, growing thicker and thicker until they covered the sky over Mount Fang Island. Bolts of lightning in every color streaked through them, as though they were steadily building up their power, ready to descend and destroy everything.
The thunder grew louder and louder, stirring the Earth Veins beneath Mount Fang Island. The entire immortal island began to tremble, and the tremors even spread across the whole East Sea Region.
The creatures of the East Sea were all shaken. They turned as one to look toward Mount Fang Island.
"The Supreme Yang Dao Lord truly is a mighty being. Only a Great Supernatural Being like him could cause such a spectacle."
Everyone in the East Sea knew how powerful the Supreme Yang Dao Lord was. Even with such a heavenly phenomenon appearing, no one dared approach to investigate.

By then, the tribulation lightning in the sky had finished gathering its power.

East King Duke hurriedly summoned two Five Elements Banners, protecting the Spiritual Root Grass and Trees atop Supreme Yang Mountain and everything else nearby.
But the heavenly tribulation didn't pause for an instant. The eighth bolt—a purple bolt of tribulation lightning—descended immediately, striking the Dao Lotus to the ground and leaving it utterly feeble.
East King Duke was beside himself with worry, but soon the lotus platform rose into the air once more.
By then, the final bolt of tribulation lightning had reached terrifying proportions, yet it continued gathering power. The Tribulation Cloud converged and was drawn into it, while the surrounding spiritual energy of Heaven and Earth was sucked in as well, forming an enormous bolt of Golden Tribulation Lightning.
The bolt was terrifying, as if it could destroy all things. No one dared look directly at it. Lightning crackled and flashed, its brilliance illuminating the four seas.
Sensing the might of the final Nine-Nine Tribulation Lightning, the Dao Lotus seemed utterly unafraid. It displayed an unyielding will and met the bolt head-on.
As if provoked, the tribulation lightning came crashing down in fury. The already weakened Dao Lotus suddenly released streams of Yin-Yang Two Qi, which transformed into an endless expanse of Yin-Yang Dharma Lotuses.
The Golden Tribulation Lightning was fierce, but the Yin-Yang Two Qi was profound, and the Chaos Top-tier Law was no ordinary thing. A full eighty-one Yin-Yang Lotus Flowers met the attack, gradually dispelling the full force of the tribulation lightning.
The Tribulation Cloud dispersed, and the sky cleared once more. Suddenly, a wave of Mysterious Yellow Power descended upon the Dao Lotus. As the first spiritual treasure in the Primordial World to advance into a Supreme Treasure, it naturally earned merit. Its petals began to shine, and an exquisite fragrance filled the air. The Yin-Yang Two Qi surged, manifesting two Auspicious Beasts that cried out in unison toward the heavens.
Flowers bloomed across the summit of Supreme Yang Mountain, and the grass and trees gained spiritual energy. Even the lotus flowers filling the nearby pond all transformed into Innate Spiritual Treasures.
The wondrous phenomenon enveloped all of Supreme Yang Mountain. Before long, the lotus platform drew it all back in. Having reached the eighteenth grade, the Yin-Yang Dao Lotus concealed its might, radiated boundless Yin-Yang Dao Intent, and descended into East King Duke's hands.
And so, the Supreme Treasure was born!
