Fuxi shouted, his voice full of urgency. He had flown all the way here, yet even now, as he reached them, the shock on his face showed no sign of fading.
Behind Fuxi, Queen Mother of the West arrived on her cloud and quietly took her place beside East King Duke. She didn't even glance at the battered Eastern Emperor Tai Yi. This outcome hadn't surprised her in the least.
The East Emperor had returned to his earlier Daoist form, dressed in a cloud-dragon robe. He looked dispirited, his right arm hanging limp, golden Crow blood still dripping from it. Faced with the spiritual treasure sword gleaming with a piercing chill, he looked terrified and hardly dared to move.
Fuxi had been watching the battle between East King Duke and Tai Yi from a distance. Only when the latter lost had he hurried over. Now that he was closer, the sight was even more shocking. The East Emperor's wretched condition made him draw a sharp breath.
"Daoist Supreme Yang, please withdraw your divine ability!"
Seeing Fuxi bow slightly, East King Duke pondered for a moment, then waved his hand. The Pure Yang Sword flew back into his soul, while the pervasive Yin-Yang Two Qi slowly faded away.
Fuxi let out a sigh of relief. If Tai Yi had truly fallen here, he would have had a hard time explaining himself when he returned. Fortunately, East King Duke was still willing to show him some consideration.
Looking again at the proud figure standing across from him, Fuxi's eyes held not only disbelief, but also a trace of awe.
Thinking back to Queen Mother of the West's attitude just a short while ago, Fuxi would have been unworthy of his status as a top-tier Innate Divine Demon
