After Sasuke and Naruto's spar was called off, Sakura immediately rushed over to Sasuke. "Sasuke, are you all right?"
"I'm fine!"
Sasuke stubbornly wiped the blood spilling from the corner of his mouth and deactivated the Cursed Seal state.
"Don't move around. I'll heal you!"
Sakura supported Sasuke and hurriedly began treating him.
Seeing that Sakura had eyes only for Sasuke and was wholeheartedly healing him, Naruto stood off to the side, looking somewhat dejected, as if he were the one who had lost the match.
"Hmph!"
Menma, floating in the air, snorted softly. He couldn't stand seeing Naruto acting like such a lovesick puppy, so he slipped into Naruto's body to avoid looking at him.
A moment later, Sakura finished the treatment.
At first glance, Sasuke seemed to be seriously injured, but they were actually just flesh wounds caused by fists. Furthermore, under State Two, his body was already unusually tough, and his ability to withstand blows had greatly increased. After Sakura's treatment, his injuries had mostly healed.
Naruto reached out, intending to pull Sasuke up from the ground.
Smack.
Sasuke slapped Naruto's hand away. "I can do it myself!"
With that, he stood up on his own and brushed the dust from his clothes.
Naruto asked cautiously, "Sasuke, are you... all right?"
Sasuke looked at Naruto, his expression somewhat complicated.
For most of the time in the past, his strength had completely overwhelmed Naruto's. Yet he had to admit that Naruto's potential was incredibly strong. Naruto's strength always made explosive progress at unexpected times, catching him off guard.
However, he had absolute confidence in himself and in his Mangekyō Sharingan. He firmly believed that if he were given a little more time to adapt, he would surpass and crush Naruto again, just as he had before!
