After leaving Naruto at Mount Myōboku, Jiraiya returned to the Ninja Village Allied Forces' main camp alone.
Worried about the Great Toad Sage's new prophecy, Jiraiya told Tsunade everything about it, word for word.
After learning that the Great Toad Sage had prophesied the destruction of the Shinobi World, Tsunade was also deeply shocked. Frowning, she said, "Even if we lose this Shinobi World War, the Shinobi World shouldn't be destroyed because of it, should it? Could it be the Ten-Tails?"
Jiraiya nodded slightly. "That's what I suspect, too. If there's really something that could destroy the Shinobi World, it can only be the legendary Ten-Tails."
Tsunade continued, "What does the 'light' in the prophecy refer to?"
Jiraiya shook his head. "I don't know, either. But Sage Fukasaku speculated that the 'light' is the only hope of preventing the destruction of the Shinobi World. So no matter what, we have to find that 'light' as soon as possible!"
"If we don't even know what it is, how are we supposed to find it?"
Tsunade was getting frustrated.
The unfavorable state of the war and the Great Toad Sage's prophecy had sent her spirits plummeting.
"Though we don't know who it is, this 'light' should be a ninja!" After a pause, Jiraiya continued, "They'll be the one who stands against evil until the very end of the Shinobi World, so they must be incredibly powerful!"
"A very powerful ninja?"
Tsunade began to consider this clue.
Being "powerful" was a prominent trait, especially for someone who could become the Shinobi World's last protector. They would have to be stronger than an ordinary Kage Level ninja.
That narrowed down the possibilities considerably.
As Tsunade mentally sifted through the ninjas who might be the "light," Jiraiya added, "It's also possible that they aren't powerful
