Karin's Wood Dragon Susanoo repeatedly cut down and tore apart the monsters with dog heads and dragon bodies, sometimes with its blade and sometimes with its bare hands. Nearby, Sarugan roared as it ripped the wings off Karin's Wood Dragon Susanoo.
The Wood Dragon coiled around the Wood Dragon Susanoo rose into the air, viciously constricting Chigari, the enormous flaming bird. Chigari, in turn, used its own scorching flames to burn the Wood Dragon that was strangling it.

The entire battlefield had long since become a wasteland. The trees were gone, and even the ground was pockmarked and crisscrossed with ravines.

Another thunderous crash rang out. While Karin's Wood Dragon Susanoo was focused on Inukai Kenmei, its Wood Dragon armor had detached and gone to strangle Chigari. Seizing the opportunity, Momoshiki's Sarugan slammed a fist into the head of Karin's Wood Dragon Susanoo.
