In the dim training ground of the underground palace, Orochimaru met Genyumaru.
"Lord Orochimaru!"
Genyumaru bowed respectfully to Orochimaru.
Orochimaru smiled. "You awakened a Divine Art?"
Genyumaru hesitated. "I'm not entirely sure!"
With that, Genyumaru swiped a claw through the air. A belt-like mark quickly appeared along the path of his swipe, stretching all the way to a nearby wall.
Orochimaru didn't speak right away. He simply waited for Genyumaru to demonstrate what came next.
Then Genyumaru lightly clawed at his own chest. Another belt-like mark appeared there. He reached toward it—and pushed his hand straight inside.
"Huh!?"
Orochimaru's pupils contracted sharply. A moment later, he understood and whipped his head toward the mark on the nearby wall. Genyumaru's arm, which had disappeared into his chest, was now sticking out of the mark on the wall.
Orochimaru was delighted. "It's a space-time Divine Art!"
There was no doubt.
The Divine Art Genyumaru had awakened was the same "Claw Mark" that Code possessed in the original timeline!
The ability of "Claw Mark" was similar to the Fourth Hokage's "Flying Thunder God Technique." The belt-like marks the user left behind were Claw Marks.
Like the formula marks of the "Flying Thunder God Technique," these Claw Marks served as coordinates that pinpointed locations in space. Once the user placed them, he could travel freely between them.
Just as Genyumaru's hand, though reaching for the Claw Mark on his own chest, had emerged from the Claw Mark on the distant wall.
Genyumaru finally explained, "It's called 'Claw Mark'!"
Orochimaru clicked his tongue in amazement. "Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful!"
Even though the Research Institute's existence had raised the power ceiling of the Shinobi World considerably, "Space-Time Ninjutsu" remained exceedingly rare.
Experimental subjects like Orochimaru and Owl had undergone the ritual and gained Six Paths level strength.
