Standing atop the canopy of a great tree, Shinji surveyed his surroundings.

He took in the situations of the six Akatsuki Organization members scattered throughout the village.

Now that he had regained control of the Red Dragon Eye, he had once again acquired the ability to see over long distances. Combined with the peerless insight of his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, almost nothing happening in the village escaped his notice!

Shinji thought it over and came up with a plan.

Naruto was the reincarnation of Ōtsutsuki Ashura in this generation, and someone secretly watched over by the Sage of Six Paths. Shinji had to make sure Naruto stayed safe, lest the Sage of Six Paths intervene too soon.

After all, the Sage of Six Paths had personally split the Ten-Tails apart. From his perspective, he probably didn't want to see the Ten-Tails revived.

But Shinji also had to get the balance right.

The Akatsuki Organization had only captured the Four-Tails Jinchuriki and the Five-Tails Jinchuriki so far. If he weakened the organization too much now, causing heavy casualties or leaking information, it might reduce its efficiency in capturing Tailed Beasts later and delay the Ten-Tails' revival.

Turning his head slightly, Shinji first looked toward the village gates.

Sasori of the Red Sands was fighting fiercely against the Konoha Ninja, led by the Aburame Clan. Konoha had suffered significant casualties, but at least they had slowed Sasori down and held him at the gates.

Shifting his gaze, Shinji looked toward the breach in the outer wall.

His brows furrowed at once. Moryo's wild, rampaging form instinctively irritated him.

"Shion probably isn't ready to face Moryo yet."
