The little fairies were a race that loved and hated with all their hearts.
They hated strangers barging into their lives and territory, but once they accepted someone, they showed them tremendous enthusiasm.
Along the way, these adorable little creatures flew energetically at the very front of the group, their tiny figures darting nimbly between the trees as they guided everyone along an easy-to-follow path, seemingly tireless.
Though they had only known each other for a short time, Gauss had decided to cast [Gauss Field] on the four little fairy guides right away, protecting them.
Even though there were four of them, the mana cost wouldn't be much.
That was because the energy consumption of the protective spell Gauss Field was closely related to the size of its targets.

But Gauss still decided to cast it.
Whether they'd need it was one thing; having it was another.
There was no reason to deny the rest of the group protection just to save the tiny bit of mana it would take to protect these four little ones.
