"Today was my first time meeting him."
Feng An looked completely confused.
Not only had the Security Force not punished him, they had not even asked his name before leaving.
No, that could not be called leaving. They had run away just now...
Fuka's expression was complicated.
No matter what, he had helped them in the end.
"Are we still going for ramen...?"
"Yes."
Since nothing had happened, they naturally proceeded with the plan.
Before long, the three arrived at the Ichiraku Ramen Shop.
The moment Uncle Ichiraku saw Feng An, his face broke into a broad smile.
Aside from Naruto, Feng An was his second biggest customer. When Feng An had first crossed over, he had been curious about what Ichiraku Ramen tasted like.
So, at the age of three, just after learning to walk, while other children were still drinking milk, he had run over here to eat ramen.
Ever since then, he had frequented Ichiraku Ramen just like Naruto.
"Feng An, you haven't come by in a while. Have you been busy lately?"
"Yeah, I've been busy with ninja-related matters."
Feng An then held up three fingers.
"Uncle, three bowls of ramen, all with extra eggs."
"Ha ha, got it," Uncle Ichiraku said with a hearty laugh.
Before long, steaming bowls of ramen were brought before them by Uncle Ichiraku's daughter, Ayame.
As they ate, the three got to know one another.
Yudzuki asked, "Feng An, who exactly are you?"
"Uh, I'm the kind of dead-last student at the Ninja Academy. Don't ask about me. Tell me about yourselves?"
The captain of the Security Force had not even dared to touch him. She did not believe he had no background.
She merely assumed he did not want to tell her.
Feng An asked, "Yudzuki, what kind of Ninjutsu are you good at?"
Yudzuki said somewhat embarrassedly.
"I'm not particularly good at anything..."
Feng An nodded at that.
The two were merely ordinary genin, just as he had expected.
The weaker they were, the more dependent they would become on him. That would make it easy to pass the first written test.
Once they passed the written test, they would trust him even more deeply. Then, during the remaining team battles, he would not need to worry about being stabbed in the back.
This Chunin Selection was like an open-book exam to him. As long as his teammates trusted him, that was enough.
"Hey! Why aren't you asking me?"
Fuka looked furious beside him.
She had waited all this time for Feng An to ask her, so she could tell him about her abilities and scare him to death. Yet he had ignored her completely.
Feng An glanced at her and continued eating his ramen.
Fuka flew into a rage, feeling utterly insulted.
This is infuriating!
She suddenly lifted her bowl and gulped down the noodles and broth in one go, then rose to her feet angrily.
"I want to duel you!"
Yudzuki hurriedly grabbed her younger sister.
"Sorry, Feng An. I told you about her—"
Yudzuki pointed at her own head, hinting at how Fuka had hit her head when she was young.
Feng An calmly finished the ramen broth and smiled.
"Sure."
He was very curious. After seeing strength far beyond Taiyo's, how did she still dare challenge him to a duel?
Did she have some special ability?
Upon hearing this, Yudzuki immediately tried to play peacemaker.
She tried to persuade Fuka while also trying to persuade Feng An.
But she failed to persuade either of them.
Afraid Feng An would suddenly attack, Fuka hurriedly said to him, "Don't make a move yet. Let's find somewhere deserted to duel."
So mysterious? Somewhere deserted?
"I'm warning you, don't get any strange ideas! Otherwise, I'll make you regret it later!"
I didn't think anything. You're the one with strange ideas, aren't you?
Feng An was speechless.
He followed Fuka and Yudzuki farther and farther into an isolated area, eventually arriving beside a small stream.
There was no one around. The dense branches and leaves concealed the place well, blocking more than half the sunlight.
Without showing it, Feng An disrupted the flow of Chakra within his body in advance.
Even if he were ambushed now, it would be difficult for them to take him down. But he had to guard against Illusion Techniques. Sometimes, danger came in a single instant.
One must never let down one's guard, especially when he had known them for only half a day.
"Fine, here it is."
Fūka looked around and stopped.
She then assumed a ninja combat stance.
"Hmph, be careful. I'm afraid I might hurt you."
Feng An narrowed his eyes.
Was she warning him? Did she only want a duel? Had he overthought things?
He then lightly shook his head and stopped dwelling on it.
Once she made her move, he would naturally learn her intentions.
Three or four Shuriken flew toward Feng An.
He quickly dodged.
Only when the Shuriken struck the trees and shattered did he realize they seemed to be made of ice crystals.
Before he could think further, Fūka darted through the forest, throwing Ice Shuriken at him from every direction.
Yet even against such dense attacks, Feng An could easily evade them.
The only troublesome part was the environment.
In this terrain, he had to deal with the Shuriken while also tracking Fūka's movements.
She was not fast, but she made full use of the terrain.
"Interesting."
Feng An had not expected her to have some skill.
He quickly used the Shadow Clone Jutsu.
Two Feng Ans instantly appeared before him.
As Ice Shuriken flew in from afar, all three Feng Ans charged straight at them.
Bang! Bang! As two clones were pierced and turned into smoke.
The Feng An at the rear twisted aside, dodging the Shuriken while using the Body Flicker Technique.
His speed surged in an instant. Before the thrown Ice Shuriken had even finished flying, he appeared where they had been thrown from.
He immediately spotted Fūka hiding behind a tree, with her foot sticking out.
Feng An walked over and said:
"You lost."
But as he drew close, he discovered that the figure was a Clone Jutsu.
How could that be?
Feng An's pupils contracted as he stared fixedly at the clone that was dispersing.
At that moment, a voice came from above him.
"You're the one who lost."
In an instant, Fūka dropped from the tree, charging at Feng An with a kunai in hand.
As she leaped down, she even kicked off a branch for momentum.
Fūka wrapped her arms around him from behind and pressed the kunai to his throat.
"Hmph, I won."
After pausing for a moment, Feng An chuckled. "Yes, you won."
Fūka frowned, somewhat angry.
"What's so funny?"
At that moment, Yudzuki, who had been watching from the side for some time, said, "Fūka, you lost."
"My kunai is at his throat, and you're still taking his side and saying I lost?"
There was a hint of a sob in Fūka's voice.
Her sister speaking up for an outsider made her feel as though she had been stabbed in the back.
Hearing Fūka's tone, Yudzuki looked pained.
"Feng An, stop teasing her."
The Feng An whose throat Fūka had pinned grinned at her.
Poof! He turned into a cloud of smoke.
A Shadow Clone?!
Fūka's reddened eyes widened.
Then she saw Feng An walk out from behind the tree he had been standing near earlier.
Fūka rubbed her reddened eyes and pouted as she asked, "Didn't all your Shadow Clones get shattered by my Shuriken?"
Feng An looked at Fūka with a smile at the corner of his lips.
"Did I ever say I could only make two clones?"
Fūka froze at those words.
He had exploited an information gap. When fighting Taiyo, he had only created two Feng An clones, so she had subconsciously assumed that two clones were his limit.
Fūka helplessly lowered her shoulders. "I lost."
Feng An walked up to Fūka and asked, "There's something I want to ask you."
"Hm?" Fūka raised her eyes to look at Feng An.
"What is your Chakra nature?"
