Background / History

Yang Yuan began as a commoner student at Nuoding Academy, where his Eye Martial Soul and Double Pupils already gave him overwhelming perception, physical ability, and combat talent. He defeated Wang Sheng to establish himself in Dorm Seven, then challenged Xiao Chenyu’s group and led the dormitory to victory at the Back Hill. 5 10 11

He treated Xiao Chenyu’s later gift of 2,000 Gold Soul Coins as a genuine favor rather than a payment. Years afterward, he returned the silver card with 720,000 Gold Soul Coins and used his abilities to heal Xiao Chenyu and Wang Sheng’s old injuries. 17 36 53

After deciding to hunt his first soul ring alone, Yang Yuan entered the Star Dou Great Forest.
