Magic Apprentice One

Rhode charged towards the Skeleton Soldiers beside him. Just as the Skeleton Soldiers reacted and prepared to swing their swords at the enemy before them, a streak of light flashed by, and their skulls, still burning with Soul Fire, flew off.

Rhode didn't even glance at the decapitated Skeleton Soldiers, continuing to swing his sword and attack the next target.

Due to the increase in his class level and the series of stats added by the Speed Achievement, the Skeleton Soldiers at this point could no longer pose a threat to Rhode.

Even with low stats, Rhode could previously kill Skeleton Soldiers with higher stats than himself without taking damage through his powerful swordsmanship techniques, let alone now. At the Magic Apprentice's feet lay quite a few Undead Creatures. Because other Undead Creatures were drawing pressure, the Skeleton Warrior was not killed immediately.

After a brief moment of thought, Rhode made up his mind.

Rhode swung his sword several times, killing the Ghouls that had swarmed around him. He then abandoned dealing with the Undead Creatures in front of him and charged towards the Magic Apprentice.

With the experience from his past life, Rhode understood that the Magic Apprentice was driven by the Mana within its body. When the original modifier died, the more Mana they had within them, the greater the power they could unleash after death, and the longer they could exist.

Since Rhode had successfully assassinated the apprentice, the apprentice still retained its full Mana upon death. This meant that even if it killed all the surrounding Undead Creatures, its Mana might not be depleted.

To gain more Experience Points in this battle, Rhode naturally could not let the Magic Apprentice kill all the surrounding Undead Creatures. Rhode temporarily abandoned dealing with the Undead Creatures around him and prioritized dealing with the Magic Apprentice.

At this moment, the Skeleton Warrior, having lost an arm, could only brace its shield and futilely endure the Magic Apprentice's attacks.

The fierce collision between fists and shield, coupled with the previous repeated attacks, left the Magic Apprentice's fists bloody and its arm veins ruptured, but this did not affect its attacks in the slightest.

Sensing the Magic Apprentice's attack intent, Rhode paid no mind to the immense force generated by the Skeleton Warrior's body. He moved forward instead of retreating, sidestepped to avoid the collision of the Skeleton Warrior's body, and thrust his sword-wielding right hand forward, stabbing towards the Magic Apprentice before him.

The Magic Apprentice raised one hand to block Rhode's thrust. The immense force almost made Rhode unable to grip his weapon, and at the same time, it reminded Rhode once again that the enemy before him was not as easy to deal with as the low-level Undead Creatures.

The Magic Apprentice's next punch was about to land. Rhode made a decisive move and rolled backward. While dodging this attack, Rhode grabbed the shield that the Skeleton Warrior had been holding.
