Jiang Siqi stared blankly at the screen. It took her a full five minutes before she finally snapped out of it as if waking from a dream.

Her first reaction was to rush into the bathroom and shove her head beneath the faucet. The December tap water was bitingly cold, making her shiver several times at once. Yet even so, the memories concerning those abilities remained.

She raised her head and looked at her dripping reflection in the mirror, practically wanting to scream at the top of her lungs.

As she watched the two-dimensional stickers of light and flame twist, turn, and leap under her control, an indescribable sense of satisfaction rose within Jiang Siqi.

That was the effect of the Deity-Summoning Art. Not just paper... she could control any relatively light object with her "mind," such as making a ballpoint pen stand upright or having a tissue crawl like an earthworm. She could not make objects fly unless they were paper airplanes to begin with. Nor could she make her phone crawl over to her, because its casing was too hard to deform like a tissue.

In short... this new ability did not use external force to make objects move. Instead, it infused them with souls, making them act from within. Only by fully utilizing an object's inherent properties could she bring out the Deity-Summoning Art's full potential.
