Jiang Siqi's brow twitched at the insults aimed right at her face. But remembering that her sponsor was watching too, she immediately restrained herself and treated them as irrelevant background noise.

The line moved forward slowly, while a steady electronic beeping came from the front.

Applicants had to stand in a device resembling a security gate for a moment, and the panel above it would display a score. Fifty was the baseline, with no upper limit. The electronic beeping came from the testing gate.
