Two hours later, a modified ambulance drove out through the gates of Northern Heaven Institute.
Honglian and Wang Baihu were seated in the cab.
Lin Qing and Guagua stayed in the rear emergency compartment.
An air collection device had been installed on top of the compartment. Put simply, it was a suction machine that could draw large amounts of outside air into the cabin before releasing it through two vents below. This way, even if the dinosaur never showed itself, the effect was roughly the same as riding in a convertible.
The only two downsides were... the February air was rather cold, and the wind noise was quite loud.
Wang Baihu looked through the rear window of the cab at the situation inside the compartment and muttered softly, "I don't know if I'm overthinking this..."
"What?" Honglian asked.
"I feel like Guagua has become a different dragon."

For some reason, Northern Heaven Institute had specifically prepared some equipment for Guagua. There was a vest with ballistic plates that protected its neck and upper chest, oversized Bluetooth headphones connected to the wireless transceiver inside the vest, and a blue blanket draped over its back. It looked just like the armored warhorses in decorative paintings.
Honglian did not understand why they had done this, but she respected it.
Because Guagua looked quite happy too.
"No, its eyes have changed." Wang Baihu emphasized, "The way it looks at me... has become more distant!"
Honglian rolled her eyes. "Are you serious?"
