Masha lowered her voice and leaned close to Yu Xing, keeping her eyes fixed on Susan as if afraid she might do something. Her voice trembled. "Roy, do you think Susan's human or a ghost?"

They'd spent ages discussing how there were both people and ghosts here, and Masha couldn't tell them apart.

Before Masha could breathe a sigh of relief, Yu Xing added, "The antisocial, anti-human kind. The kind who could chop you into eighteen pieces with the kitchen knife in her hand at any moment."
