[Bonus Effect: Two chess pieces may enter the board at the same time. Both pieces move the same number of spaces each turn. The Chess Master does not need to roll twice. The Chess Master may freely choose the direction in which each piece moves. The two pieces may act separately.]

Originally, the two chess pieces had to enter the board one at a time. The second could only enter after the first had died. But with the bonus from [Not Enemies, Not Meeting], both pieces could enter together.

The other three starting rooms should have drawn bonuses, too, but the four groups had no way to communicate. Gu Mian had no idea what the other groups had drawn.

Even if the four groups could communicate, they probably wouldn't reveal what they'd drawn. After all, they were competing against one another now.

Nearly a minute had passed since the five-minute countdown began, but the three of them still hadn't chosen a Chess Master.

He saw that Room Four in the upper-right corner already displayed "Ready." It looked like they'd chosen their Chess Master and chess pieces.

Room Three in the lower-right corner was ready right after them. That left only their room and Room Two in the lower-left corner.

"Who'll be the Chess Master?" 007 asked, looking at Gu Mian and Liu Ruyan.

Judging by the rules, the Chess Master was undoubtedly the safest role in the group. All they had to do was stay in the starting room, roll the dice, and decide the chess pieces' routes.

The most dangerous role belonged to the first chess piece to enter the board. If any piece found the treasure chest hidden somewhere on the board while the first piece was exploring, the dungeon would end
