"We found a few more books about the school's various buildings and routine maintenance, plus two unusual ones. They're hard to describe, so take a look yourselves," Liu Ruyan said.
Gu Mian looked at the stack of books on the floor.
"Boiling Water Room Equipment Inspection Dossier, Building One Classroom Usage Archive (II), School Infirmary Patient Records..."
"The books with locations in their titles are all text. They give detailed records of how those places have been used from year 1, day 1, right up to today. They're even still recording things now," Liu Ruyan said, handing Gu Mian a book. "Have a quick look."
It was Building One Classroom Usage Archive (II).
Gu Mian opened the book and quickly flipped through it. As its title suggested, it recorded the use of the classrooms in Building One.
However, the first page started not on year 1, day 1, but on year 1, day 198. The "II" after the title meant this was the second Building One Classroom Usage Archive. Presumably, the first volume had filled up on day 197, so the second began on day 198.

Gu Mian noticed that the classroom usage records even included specific names.
When he flipped to the middle, he even spotted some familiar ones.
"Year 1, day 254, third-floor usage in Building One. Classroom 301: three occupants, names: 'Jing,' 'I'm Not Curly Hair,' and 'Strawberry Glutinous Rice Cake.'"
