The Rift Below

After arriving at the camp.

The old man from the Meng family led Ning Wangshu into a tent, where all sorts of odds and ends were piled up.

Ning Wangshu gave them a cursory glance. Among the items were fragments of unfamiliar objects, the skeletal remains of unknown creatures, and even things he couldn't identify at all.

"Great Grandmaster, we brought all these things up from below the rift. Everything recovered from down there is currently here in the camp..."

The old man explained.

"Mm."

Ning Wangshu gave a slight nod and immediately released his Divine Sense to examine the items. However, after carefully inspecting each one several times, he found nothing of value.

Some fragments had clearly once belonged to Magic Artifacts that had been destroyed, but their spiritual properties were gone. They had become ordinary scrap metal and were worthless...

Seeing Ning Wangshu remain silent, the old man grew somewhat uneasy. He couldn't help asking cautiously, "Um, Great Grandmaster, should we sort through all these things carefully so you can inspect them one by one?"
