the mysterious seal in Takamagahara finally gave way beneath the onslaught of the boundless torrents of blood fiends, resentment, and restless souls. With a bang, it exploded, scattering into a rain of light.
Faintly visible among the rain of light were countless fragments of Dao patterns.
Those fragments still contained astonishing power. Combined with the terrifying force released when the mysterious seal shattered, they annihilated every blood fiend, trace of resentment, and restless soul within Takamagahara in an instant!
Even the remaining blood fiends, resentment, and restless souls outside Takamagahara were caught in the shockwave, and most of them dispersed.
The few that remained were bathed in the fragments of Dao patterns spilling out of Takamagahara. They melted away like snow and vanished completely in the blink of an eye...
For a time,
the skies and land across all of Japan returned to a clear and bright state. However, every living being on the Japanese islands had long since perished. Not a trace of life remained; the land had become a dead zone!
Although every blood fiend, trace of resentment, and restless soul had been annihilated by the force unleashed when the mysterious seal shattered and by the fragments of Dao patterns, the two women didn't care in the slightest.
Seeing the mysterious seal finally shatter, both of them broke into smiles of delight.
