Vinson Wright Was Very Satisfied with the Handling of the Matter

What Dumbledore needed to do now was first find out why Peter Pettigrew had infiltrated Hogwarts and exactly what he had taken from the school.

Dumbledore thought about what had happened back then and decided to seek outside help. "It seems we'll have to find out what that parchment is for from someone else."

Perhaps he should first find out what Peter Pettigrew had stolen, then ask Sirius Black about it in Azkaban. That might allow him to learn the parchment's purpose.

However.

James Potter had not had only the two of them as friends back then.

There happened to be another person whom Dumbledore trusted even more who had also been James Potter's friend. Perhaps that person knew what the parchment was for as well.

A man named Remus Lupin.

Back then, James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin had formed Gryffindor's four-man group and were always causing trouble at school.

If there was some secret on that parchment...

If Peter Pettigrew knew about it, then Remus Lupin definitely knew too.

"I hope you can keep Peter's matter a secret."

Dumbledore stared at Argus Filch and Snape, speaking with unprecedented seriousness. "Too many people cannot know about this for now. Otherwise, it will cause unimaginable trouble, and the entire Wizarding World could be affected..."

Dumbledore wanted to conceal the news that Peter Pettigrew was still alive, mainly because he was worried that Peter Pettigrew would spread the matter of the Horcrux far and wide.

Vinson Wright sat in the Hufflepuff common room, flipping through Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in his hands. He could not help maliciously guessing that perhaps Dumbledore was trying to help his favorite student, Newt Scamander, boost his sales.

"Vinson, your tea."

Cedric carried over a cup of black tea and set it beside the table. He glanced curiously at the extracurricular book in Vinson's hands.

"Mr. Scamander's book? Do you want to read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them? I have a copy personally signed by Mr. Scamander..."

As Hufflepuff students, everyone seemed to greatly admire Newt Scamander, the Hufflepuff-born expert in Fantastic Beasts.

Cedric was naturally no exception. His father, Amos, had helped him obtain the book signed by Scamander himself.

"There's no need for that. I'm only using it to pass the time."

Vinson put down the book in his hands, picked up the black tea from the table, and took a sip. He raised his head and looked at Cedric. "Studying all the time is very boring..."

Even at Hogwarts School, Vinson Wright still maintained his habit of studying. It simply looked rather arduous to everyone else.

Dumbledore conducted a thorough search of all Hogwarts, personally activated the defensive barrier surrounding the entire school, and prevented Peter Pettigrew from infiltrating again.

To give himself a chance to catch Peter Pettigrew, Dumbledore even took charge in person and deliberately set magical traps in several of the school's secret passageways.

The result was that Gryffindor lost another ten points...

The Weasley twins had secretly been exploring the school when they discovered a secret passageway, only to become trapped by the magical traps Dumbledore had set.

That was incredibly awkward...

Professor Minerva McGonagall, the head of Gryffindor, was practically driven to distraction by the Weasley twins. At the rate the two Weasley brothers were losing points for breaking rules, Gryffindor was bound to finish at the bottom of the House Cup standings this year!

On Sunday evening.

Vinson Wright heard about what had happened and was extremely satisfied with the result.

Unfortunately.

The next day, Monday morning.

Vinson Wright had the honor of becoming the first student in all of Hufflepuff to lose points.
