Vinson Wright's thought process was downright bizarre.
All the students present had assumed Vinson Wright's first words would be something insulting, like "All Slytherin students are a bunch of losers." None of them had expected the kid's first move to be assigning blame for the conflict.
This new student's thought process was downright bizarre!

Another tide of magic surged from the wand in Vinson Wright's hand.
Unlike the Petrifying Charm, this tide of magic drifted over the students' bodies like a gentle breeze. Every student touched by Finite Incantatem was slowly released from the Petrifying Charm.
Some students had been frozen in rather unnatural positions. Once the spell was lifted, they grimaced as they rubbed their aching shoulders and wrists.
Throughout the Great Hall.
Apart from the Slytherin students, everyone from the other Houses
