The Sub-dragon Species Star Beast let out a furious roar.
He strained to crawl out of the Space Rift.
Before his body was even through, he flung open his enormous jaws, hoping to swallow the delicious morsel before him whole.
The Star Beast's muddled mind could not understand why such tiny prey did not flee in terror at the sight of him, but instead wore a strange smile.
All he could sense from that small body was surging Blood Qi.
It was purer and more enticing than the Blood Qi of ordinary Star Beasts.
If the Sub-dragon Species Star Beast had still possessed his wits, he might even have praised it: The best things really did come in small packages.
But he would never get the chance to say it.
The tiny morsel across from him raised a hand with a smile.

A massive Space Blade appeared above the Star Beast's head.
Then it slowly descended.

Everyone seemed to hear the Sub-dragon Species Star Beast's head being severed.
Only then did the Space Blade vanish.
The rest of the Star Beast's body slid slowly out of the Space Rift and fell with his head onto the open ground below.
