After Jing Ke and Yao Li departed, Ye Junlin spent several more days in the Dimensional Space.
He cultivated during the day and rested at night, living an exceptionally leisurely life.
Perhaps it was because he had avenged his parents and himself, or perhaps because he now had a power of his own. His entire demeanor had been completely renewed.
Just as Ye Junlin was still wandering through the space,
Elsewhere, Jing Ke and Yao Li had already arrived in Qingzhou City, the heart of Green Province.
After several days of investigation, Jing Ke and Yao Li learned that Qingzhou City was one of the most chaotic and complicated cities. Due to its terrain, branches of every major faction were entrenched here.
The most powerful factions in Qingzhou City were as follows:
Linglong Chamber of Commerce: It controlled the commerce of the Eastern Region and monopolized the trade of Divine Weapons and Spiritual Medicine.
Blood Kill Pavilion: An assassin organization with branches in every major city of the Eastern Region.
Aside from these major powers, forces from the Demonic Sect and various sects were also hidden within the city.
"Let us establish the Misty Rain Tower here in Qingzhou City," Jing Ke murmured.
"Mm! Qingzhou City's factions are in complete disarray, but the more chaotic it is, the more favorable it is for the Misty Rain Tower's development."
Yao Li studied the intelligence in his hand and sighed.
After gaining a general understanding of the various factions and the situation, Jing Ke and Yao Li decided to begin developing the Misty Rain Tower here.
"Let us first visit the bounty board at the Black Market. If there are suitable missions, we can take a few."
"We should first earn some Spirit Stones and build a reputation. We can establish a Misty Rain Tower stronghold afterward."
The Black Market was not unique to Qingzhou City. Nearly every city in the Eastern Region had a branch.
No one knew who stood behind the Black Market. They only knew that it was a colossal power.
It was said that the upper echelons of several factions had gathered together, intending to wipe out this illegal place that stood across the entire Eastern Region.
Yet before they even reached the Black Market, the leaders of two factions were destroyed by a Mysterious Power as a warning to the rest.
After that, the Black Market continued to exist. Everyone tacitly accepted its presence, and no one dared to be the first to challenge it again.
A moment later, Jing Ke and Yao Li arrived at the Black Market.
The two wore black robes, revealing only their eyes, yet the killing intent emanating from them made everyone nearby instinctively move aside.
"Hiss, those two men just now had truly terrifying presences. I felt as though I had come face-to-face with two killing gods. They nearly scared me to death."
A Rogue Cultivator beside him spoke.
"More than that. Their presence has likely surpassed the Grandmaster Realm. They must be Masters of the Void Glimpse Realm."
"Look at how useless you all are! What is there to be surprised about? This is the Black Market. Isn't it normal for two unfamiliar Masters of the Void Glimpse Realm to appear here?"
A Cultivator chimed in.
Although these words earned nods of agreement from many people, their gazes toward Jing Ke and Yao Li remained filled with deep fear.
Their feet even unconsciously shifted to either side, forcibly opening up a path for the two through the crowded Black Market.
Jing Ke paid this no heed. His eyes, concealed beneath the shadows of his black robe, were as sharp as an eagle's.
They swept over the densely packed stalls of the Black Market and the furtive Cultivators, taking in everything around him.
Yao Li, meanwhile, slightly tilted his ear, catching fragments of conversation from all around and trying to sift out useful intelligence.
As the two walked, the surrounding clamor seemed to be cut off by an invisible barrier.
Only the faint rustle of their black robes echoed through the air.
After passing through layer upon layer of people, a bluestone building several stories tall suddenly appeared before them.
Above it hung a black plaque with golden lettering, bearing the four powerful characters: "Bounty Hall." The vigorous strokes carried a chilling air of slaughter.
Two Guards dressed in black stood on either side of the entrance. Both were Grandmasters, sabers at their waists, their cold eyes scanning everyone who entered and exited.
Ordinary Cultivators passing by would instinctively restrain their Auras.
But when they saw Jing Ke and Yao Li, their pupils abruptly contracted. The questions they had been about to ask got stuck in their throats.
The killing intent rushing toward them was like tangible blades, slicing painfully against their skin and leaving them without even the courage to move.
Jing Ke and Yao Li strode directly into the Bounty Hall. The lighting inside was somewhat dimmer than outside, and the air was filled with the faint mixed scent of Bloody Smell and ink.
Dozens of enormous wooden pillars supported the roof, each one hung with densely packed bounty plaques.
There were all kinds of missions, from assassination jobs targeting Grandmasters to menial tasks like gathering medicine and searching for treasure.
The Cultivators in the hall were either lowering their heads to examine the information on the plaques or whispering together in groups of three or five.
But the instant Jing Ke and Yao Li entered, the entire hall fell silent. Every gaze turned in unison toward the two Black Robes.
"Those two... their killing intent is so strong!"
"Judging by their steps, they are light yet steady. They are definitely not ordinary people."
"Could they be here for those high-reward missions?"
Whispers rose and fell, but no one dared speak too loudly, afraid of offending these two killing gods.
Jing Ke turned a deaf ear to them. His gaze was piercing as he rapidly scanned the hanging wooden plaques, but his brows gradually furrowed.
Yao Li also sensed that something was wrong and asked softly, "How is it? Are there no suitable missions?"
Jing Ke slowly shook his head. His voice was low and hoarse, carrying a trace of disappointment:
