A New God's body did not die easily. Back when Shane had killed Kanto and those nameless pieces of trash on Apokolips, he had either torn them into countless pieces or smashed their brains apart.
With half of Vundabar's head remaining, Shane could see the surviving half of his brain still twitching faintly inside the bloody opening.
