Just as he had hoped, Shane lost the other Mongolian Star people, who had no formation discipline whatsoever, after rounding three corridor corners.
The veteran Mongolian Star person he had questioned earlier had been rather terrible at putting his explanations into words.
Fortunately, Rachel was there to help him at every moment.
Shane did not have to rack his brains constructing a three-dimensional map himself. Based on the veteran's disjointed descriptions, Rachel's magic had already fashioned a map of this section of Warworld's interior from black mist.
With Rachel projecting it to him in real time through telepathy, Shane quickly pinpointed Mongul's Vault.
When no one was around, he walked normally. When someone appeared, he troubled Rachel to open the Shadow Dimension so they could slip past.
Shane soon made his way smoothly to the vicinity of what appeared to be Mongul's Vault.

Concealed by magic at the far end of the T-shaped corridor, Shane quickly poked his head out for a look, then immediately withdrew behind the corner.
Clearly, people rarely came to this area. Even the other Mongolian Star people kept their distance. So despite being disguised as "one of their own," Shane could not easily approach it.
It was decision time again.
Shane now had two possible plans.
The first was to return straight to brute force, overpowering every obstacle: charge over, take out the six guards, rip open the vault door,
