Background / History

Ye Xinxia was a disabled orphan who used a wheelchair from childhood. When other children mocked her disability, Jiang Yu intervened and defended her; this became the foundation of her dependence on and admiration for him. 2

She remained close to Jiang Yu through her school years. He regularly escorted her home, studied with her, and encouraged her before her magical awakening, while she prepared meals for him as a way of supporting him. 2 3 By the following winter, she had cultivated her Healing Element to the point where she expected to cast magic and qualify for a magic academy. 9
