He launched into a string of curses. "You useless teacher! You're irresponsible every damn day. What the hell does it have to do with you? I've wanted to beat you up for ages!"
"Heh." Professor Yuan laughed in anger. "So you're saying you did something wrong, and now you're blaming me?"
"Was I too easy on you before, or have you hit your rebellious phase? You want to beat me up? Let's see what you're made of!"
Professor Yuan sneered and struck without hesitation. His eyes glowed purple as layer upon layer of sound waves rippled through the air. Accompanied by his vast Mental Power, they gathered around Zu Jiming in the blink of an eye, twisting the air.
"Ahhh!"
The next moment, Zu Jiming had no way to resist. He clutched his head and dropped to his knees, screaming nonstop. He looked like Sun Wukong under the tightening spell, gripped by such intense emotions that he nearly felt the urge to kill himself.
"The world is made of waves. By plucking the strings, we can control everything."
Professor Yuan spoke calmly, looking down at Zu Jiming with contempt. "You think you're strong? I could've beaten you with one hand when I was your age. You really don't know your place."
Everyone swallowed hard. They hadn't expected this very young professor to be a High-Order Mage, with an absurdly high level of mental cultivation.
Then Professor Yuan turned and stormed off. "The exchange match starts in two hours. Go fight on your own. What a disgrace! I can't be bothered with you anymore."
Zu Jiming suffered for a while before managing to recover. His head was still buzzing. He felt bewildered. Ever since coming to Magic City, why had he been so unlucky? He'd been taught a lesson by several
