Background and History

Bo City undercover assignment

Tang Yue infiltrated Bo City under the identity of a Magic Practice Class teacher to investigate abnormalities connected to dark forces. She remained there for roughly two and a half years without finding evidence of the Black Vatican, while quietly sheltering Mo Fan during his high-school years. 7

Her cover began to unravel when Lu Jun identified her as an Adjudication Court member and asked for her assistance against the Black Vatican’s tunnel network. Although initially alarmed that a student knew her secret, Tang Yue joined Lu Jun, Lu Mei, and Lin Yuxin in destroying the tunnels before the Bo City disaster. 19

During the demon assault on Bo City, Tang Yue fought alongside Lu Jun and Lu Mei, helping defeat a General-level Magic Wolf and rallying other mages. Impressed by Lu Jun’s combat ability, she invited him to join the Adjudication Court. 23 24

Xishui Town mission

While pursuing the wanted Curse Mage Zhao He in Xishui Town, Tang Yue requested Lu Jun’s help because no nearby adjudicator could reinforce her quickly. She had been drugged with an aphrodisiac by Zhao He’s associates, leaving her vulnerable and embarrassed but still focused on completing the assignment. 26 27

Tang Yue and Lu Jun uncovered Zhao He’s Evil Spider Trap, which had captured four Intermediate Mages. Lu Jun killed Zhao He and used his Mind Element to free the victims, while Tang Yue handled the aftermath as the senior adjudicator. 27 28

Protector of the Totem Mysterious Snake

Tang Yue is deeply connected to the Totem Mysterious Snake and its Guardian lineage. When Hangzhou’s plague crisis made the Snake a target, she removed it from the city to protect it during its molting period, even as Zhu Meng and the Adjudication Court branded her a criminal. 93 94

Cornered at White Mountain, Tang Yue refused to surrender the Totem Bead or abandon the Snake. Lu Jun arrived in time to extract her, later helping expose the true source of the plague and clear her name. 95 100 101

After the Snake awakened, it helped repel the Silver Dome Lord and the White Demon Eagle tribe, saving Hangzhou. Tang Yue returned with Lu Jun and their allies to West Lake as the Snake was publicly recognized as Hangzhou’s guardian deity. 100 101

Later activities

Tang Yue continued supporting Lu Jun during disputes involving the Disciplinary Court and Sacred Judgment forces, bringing the Mysterious Snake when she believed his safety was at risk. 141 214

By the time of the Moon Moth Phoenix incident, Tang Yue was Hangzhou’s recognized guardian. She agreed to help keep the Moon Moth Phoenix’s existence secret and planned to awaken her Plant Element after reaching Super level. 251
