Lin Ran and Xie Zhiyong stood above the abandoned parking lot, with the sunlight falling right on them. Compared to the air down on the fourth basement level, it was much more comfortable outside.
Zhang Yiyi usually looked lazy, as though she did not care about anything, but now that they were heading out, she actually went to take a shower. So she did care about appearances after all.
After waiting a full twenty minutes, Zhang Yiyi finally came out, and Lin Ran was briefly stunned.
Zhang Yiyi, who normally wore hot pants, had actually put on a pair of long jeans that covered all the tattoos on her legs. Her top did the same, concealing most of the tattoos on her body. Only the full curve of her chest was impossible to hide.
"What are you looking at? Hurry up, will you?" Zhang Yiyi said, snapping Lin Ran back to his senses. He jumped down from above.
"You just jumped from that high up? Hey, wait for me!" Xie Zhiyong called from above, but Lin Ran and Zhang Yiyi had already started walking ahead.
"What's the point of walking so fast? I'm still the one who has to drive!" Xie Zhiyong grumbled.
"Oh, right. He's the only one here who can drive." Zhang Yiyi turned and shouted, "Hurry up, brat!"
"Quit rushing me, auntie. Besides, I'm older than you. Show me a little respect." Xie Zhiyong had actually gotten used to it, but Lin Ran was a newcomer. Did they really have to deny him even that little bit of dignity?
After the three got in the car, Zhang Yiyi had Lin Ran sit in the passenger seat while she claimed the spacious backseat for herself. The car headed toward the city.
